As of around midday today, I've swapped to a new advertising provider and while most of the really inappropriate stuff should already be blocked, there may be a period where some very off topic adverts sneak in.

If you do notice any ads for topics such as dating , weight loss, religion, etc (or anything else you feel is inappropriate) - please right mouse click on the advert (don't left click on it!!) and select "Copy link address" ...

... then send that to me via Private Conversation or email to [email protected]

Some types of adverts you can't copy the link directly, so try and take a screenshot of the advert and send that to me instead.

The ads are double the size now (at least on mobile) - takes up a good chunk of the initial page, was this intentional?

Yes, but there is a floor limit, so they only show that size when they are high paying.

It will take us a few weeks to test the settings to find the best balance in layout and earnings, so expect a few changes as we tweak things.

I'm already seeing a lot more on-topic and highly relevant adverts - I just wish they'd stop showing me delicious looking adverts from local restaurant chain Ribs & Burgers :p

You can always hide the adverts by upgrading to premium membership - https://www.propertychat.com.au/community/account/upgrades

Yeah, already grabbed the URL for that one - will submit it to be blocked. I'm getting some other singles/dating ads occasionally too.

... and those ads do actually pay really well

I was trying to work out why one of my boys had been looking at victoria's secret and then their ads were chasing us, then I remembered that it's not like the old days and teenage boys don't need to look at lingerie ads when the internet is flooded by other stuff.

You can generally pay to watch stuff without ads - it's called Netflix :p

Yes, I've already submitted a request to block that one.

If you manage to get the URL as per the first post in this thread, please send it to me - I haven't spotted it in a while.

When I right click I don't get any options with 'link' - the most useful options might be view page source or frame source, but I don't know how to read those or send them to you?

It depends on the type of advert whether you will be able to get the URL or not.

Don't worry if you can't - I can submit a screen shot for blocking

I have seen it to, but haven't looked at the URL yet. If anyone can try and grab the URL and PM or email it to me, that would be great.

Good old ad re-targeting to website visitors. Reporting irrelevant or inappropriate ads is good for ads to understand and learn who is suitable or not for any specific ad.

I get lots of diamond investment and the usual "10% yield!" property ads.
