Nope. On foot. Out for a walk early yesterday, stumbled and slashed the knee to the bone on a metal grating. Five stitches. Fortunately I was with a companion who quickly got the car and drove me to EA. I kept it pinched it so there wasn't much bleeding.

Should have done it an Bunnings and claimed I slipped due to the onions not being on top.

At least you had the sense to take it to triage. I just held the cut closed with a few band aids "An, it's but a flesh wound".

You did a good job! Hope you up and about soon. Might have to buy some more LICs to fill in time while you are recovering!

Thanks @Anne11. Surprisingly there was no pain at all when it happened. Oddly enough still isn't to any extent.

    Nice cut @SatayKing.

Inside my knee this morning... Was practising backwards* unicycling in the house last night, but something unanticipated happened and I think the pedal hit my leg.

*I think riding backwards isn't something that's strictly needed, but it's nice to be able to do (good skill to wow people) and I think it will help in my quest in mastering idling.

As soon as I saw this picture, I just knew it would be yours @Gockie (I only had to read the poster's name to confirm my suspicions).

@SatayKing, well you were walking so can’t be DUI at fault. Maybe WUI (Walking Under the Influence)?

Healing will be much faster if generous quantities of 4 Pillars are applied externally and internally every hour:).

    Hope you recover quickly.

Yeah, I was going to drop my trousers and take a photo to support this thread’s subject heading.

Then I realised what forum I was on :D.

Doesn't take long for the standards to end up in the gutter does it?:)

Gees @Gockie it's not a contest you know.

Anyways the reason it cut deep was the grate had a sharp edge so I suppose it acted like a saw when I stumbled and the knee slide along it. Simply one of things which can happen.
