I ummed and ahhed for too long and missed out on some development blocks in Perth. Now equivalent blocks are selling for 20% less, and I'm still reluctant!

Hard one? because they may continue to fall? I guess it also comes down to holding costs and whether if you build today it makes sense? land bank?

Tipped the sharks to win the NRL premiership...Surely tipping it every year it was bound to happen

Followed the same rule as tipping booms and busts

    thanks :)
I started with "Eat Stop Eat" by Brad Pilon, he was espousing the virtues of intermittent fasting and resistance training well before the 5&2 "diet" became famous.

Once I had my hunger under control (from fasting) I cut my daily calories back too. There was no diet as such, just monitoring my calorie intake, and cutting out most junk food (except ice cream).

I didn't do any workouts or exercise until 3-months after I started. Now I do 15-30mins of body weight and mobility training 2 or 3 x per week.

    Works for me! :)

If i got one thing right, it would have been to drown out the naysayers, take responsibility for my own finances, and start forging my own way to future prosperity. Has taken me many more years to get going than it should have and I'm happier now as a result.

If I got one thing right in 2017, it started in 2016 with the purchase of the house in GC, 2017 we moved in, it's one of the best things I have ever done in my life :).

    Nice.

I started my sabbatical late last year, going to Europe with family only for a couple of weeks at the end of this week.
Thankfully, my sabbatical has no fixed end date and this is the first time ever I will not have to resume work after a holiday, as every day is a holiday now.
    Feeling free.
