    Imagine if you had invested in a bunch of Kiss pinball machines in those days. Nice side investment to some IPs...

    To the original poster, when I walked past Kerry Packer in a Sydney street a week after getting my first job (in IT), rather than being in awe, I should have handed him my cheap, but newly printed, business card and said "Computers are the future!"

    And, in hindsight, "STAY AWAY FROM ONETEL!"

    Do NOT buy the used Galant VR4. Buy the brand new Lancer GSR instead. Yes, everyone says the second hand one will be better value on depreciation and that the new Lancer only has a 1.8 but they didn't tell you all the issues you will have with the VR4 first gear stripping itself, belt tensioner that fails regularly, ceramic brake pads that eat the rotor alive....... plus the fact that all the missing mechanical wizardry like 4WS make the Lancer much lighter, making up for the lower power. You will find out shortly at Phillip Island exactly how much faster the GSR is....Of course if you can wait for the first Evolution..... but no that would definitely be asking too much!

    I think I remember,Bob Seger took the opposite view in his song "Against the Wind" MTR. (wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then) I kind of agree with that with affairs of the heart if not in most other matters.ha,ha.Regards Terry.
