Buy an investment property instead of sinking extra money every week into my PPOR mortgage.

I'd go back to my final year 9 maths exam.

The teacher, short skirted, Miss Morris was sitting about 5 metres in front of me and just to the left. The modesty panel on her desk had been hastily removed just before class begun.

I've got a rubber band lined up on a ruler. Ready for a bulls eye and an easy $10 bet.

If I could go back in time, I would jump down and yell " datto, don't throw your education away for $10 and some short lived bragging rights".

I wouldnt change anything. I think the experiences ive had and the path my life has taken makes me who I am.... and i like who I am and where I'm at. I havent always felt that way, so maybe my advice would be that everything will work out, dont stress.

Also.. be good to your mum.

Have sex with phillipa when she tries making a move on ya in your car. Don't worry about your current Mrs, she's a tool and it won't work out anyhow.
Soon as the relationship ended I tried, she rejected me, damn. So so hot.

Hmmm if I had given myself the advice I think I needed 'just finish the f-ing degree don't ditch it' then my life would probably be vastly different from what it is. Ditching uni led me down a rich tapestry of life and into new home sales, IT and geology, the resources sector and developing.
I suspect I wouldn't have met my husband either as we met at work.

I think therefore my best advice would be:
    - be true to yourself
    - maintain high expectations of those who you let be close to you - sometimes even badly behaving family members don't deserve space in your head or your heart
    - peer pressure exists for your whole life, be your own person
    - you aren't fat (to my 50kg previous self that I ate and have hiding away inside)
    - it's ok to love your kids but not like them some days
    - it's ok to seek help and lean on others when life is rough

Well I'm only 25 so not to much to look back on just yet. But I would have bought more property in Sydney 5 years ago. Also I would have went into real estate instead of doing my trade

Stay in Turkey a little longer. Don't return yet to your divorcing parents and a recesssion which will hit you hard. Come back later as a couple. Australia is about to get very multi-cultural. Definitely do not hook up with the next in line. Buy a house or flat once you start working.

Somewhat amazing how this scenario can be both unexpected and unsurprising in the same post.

Please don't tell us that her dad owned a global cigarette company...
