I thought you were talking about your only investment property left @austing! Knowing that your mother-in-law lives there, I was surprised to see that you decided to publicise that you could not "deal with the tenants any more":p

Don't let the wife read this. She might dock your ration of the home brew for a while:eek:

Bit funny that the article is from a sales portal - trying to get people to sell up for their own benefit? :p

What a terrible dispicible thing to say. Young man you should be ashamed of yourself. The RE sales profession are renouned for their honesty, integrity and putting their client's interests above their own:D:p:p:p

My favourite part is when they complain about the tenants wanting them to fill out a Centrelink Rent Certificate.. Seriously.. Google rent assistance... Families can have decent income and still be eligible with family tax benefit...

The LANDLORD does not decide who gets rent assistance lol

Agree but easier said than done given personal experience. Expect the unexpected when it comes to property management:(.

If they think being a landlord is tough now, wait until BS is PM.

They got out just in time :).

Ahh they sound like soft top whinges those land ladies in the article.

They must be idiots bowing to the tenants' wishes every time and giving away free rent.

You gotta lay the law down to any prospective tenants. You gotta tell 'em "what you see is what you get, the are to be no alterations. If you don't like it then go elsewhere"...."and there's no free rent! or I'll come around every week and cut your grass".
