    @spoon - you have to ask yourself:
    • Did you have access to the $60k to make the purchase in 1997?
    • What did you do instead?
    • Why did the buyer in 1997 pay $27,500 less than the previous sale in 1993 (partial interest/divorce, anxious sale, poor marketing etc)
    Now you can beat yourself up :p

    Point 1 & 2. Yes, I did, paid double and bought in Canterbury but only a semi-detached unit
    Point 3, if divorce, I would have married the person who bought it, gender/age/look irrelevant if I have the foresight :D
