I am planning to build townhouse on 158 m2 subdivided land . How much it will cost me?

This would be my first home building
I am planning to buy subdivided land.

land size 258m2 and build up area 158 m2
Design/Planning approved.
Townhouse 3 bed , 2 bath , double garage

please let me know approximate cost
Also please recommend any good builder with affordable quotations

How do you build a single townhouse on 238m2 ?
Townhouses are generally 3 or more dwellings that share common wall/s on a single lot. A duplex is a 2 "unit" equivalent.

Ahhhh! I never was much good at maths.

 

Depends on the level of finish you select, site conditions (soil, slope etc) and so on.

Bespoke or volume builder?

Perhaps $2,000 / m2 so perhaps mid to high $300s, plus GST.

 

Melbournians have a different definition of townhouses it seems. I've seen lots of freestanding houses listed as 'townhouses'. Also a lot of houses listed as 'unit'... bloody confusing.
