Holding long term. No plans to re-balance or pull profits.

Still a disgustingly high risk portfolio.

    60% TSLA
    8% AMZN
    7% GOOGL

Yes, these 3 companies make up 75% of my entire share portfolio.

    And I'm happy about that.

Sup guys. Been a while :) I went on sabbatical, then got bored and started a YouTube channel...oddly enough, about Tesla and investing.

    So anyway.

    Then (18th June 2015):

    Tesla $261.89USD
    Solar City $57.78USD
    Google $536.73USD
SpaceX private valuation = $12B USD

    Now (20th August 2020):

    Tesla $1,994.62USD +761%
    Google $1,560.20USD +290%
    SpaceX private valuation = $46B USD +383%

Solar City was acquired by Tesla at 0.11 share conversion...so basically the same gains on that as Tesla.

Worked out ok. Glad I put my money where my mouth is

If you kept your $500k invested then you're now sitting on $3.8m just from TSLA? Did you cash out?

Per the title, these were hypothetical purchases. I was still buying Real Estate at the time of posting. Hit borrowing capacity max soon after posting then started buying stocks (almost exclusively Tesla but also some Amazon and Google - and since Nov 2017 the ONLY stock I've purchased is Tesla). Here's my current stock portfolio as of today:

It was an eye-opener to come across that Jim Cramer footage!

So this is the real stock portfolio not hypothetical? Well done!

Is the youtube channel a good source of income? I heard the effort can be worth it once the no. of views and subscribers increases which creates a snowball effect with revenue generated.

    Cheers,
    Oracle.

    Yes, that's the portfolio!

I didn't ever expect to be eligible for monetization on YouTube (I swear a lot, also not shy about my relationship with Mary Jane) but surprisingly, I was monetized. Did ~$180k USD in ad revenue, plus a bunch of other sources totaling ~$300k USD for the first 12 months. Surprising.

    I detail the income here:

I've also made a new spreadsheet tracking the returns on these hypothetical shares just for fun. Basically I made ~750% since posting call it 5.5 years ago. Decent :)

Jim Cramer didn't like Tesla at $17 back in 2010, it's now $923, having been as high as $1'222
