Hi All, I am currently researching Huntly near Bendigo for an IP. Budget is under $450k. Few reasons I found suburb interesting is due to: - Proposed Huntly Train station - New lots available around the train station currently selling for ~$140k for around ~500sqm land. Intention is to build a 4bhk house. - Prefer new construction to ensure that property is maintenance free for a few years. Rental return is the area is around $400/week. - Feel that the area is in the growth phase and will be developed in the next 5 or so years which would hopefully equal to capital gains. Keen to get your thoughts on this. Also, will be interested to hear people's opinion of the Huntly suburb
