HSBC better deal for refi

    Has anyone been able to get a better deal from HSBC or elsewhere for IO investment loan less than 60% LVR.

    Advertised is 2.67% variable with 3288 Cashback.

    Athena is 2.49% but no Cashback.

    Loan amount of 400k. So would be paying an extra 700$ ish in interest pa with HSBC.

    But could always refi after a year or so.

    Wondering if anyone has seen better IO options?

    Yep, a few lenders offering better rates than those, suggest speaking to a mortgage broker.

    My experience as a HSBC premier customer is that they have exceptional service so I would be happy to pay some premium.
