    Is this a good idea to buy a house or unit in Sydenham as a FHB ? My budget is between 350 k to 450 k ? Os there any other suburb i can look into ?

    A house on a small block in Sydenham in a good location is 500k+. More like ~600k if you want a bigger block (700-800sqm). I personally wouldn't bother with units
