Totally correct, and I suspect; the mindset of an older person who has been around too long and the rose coloured glasses are well and truly off?

I didn't realise you and I were so similar, Keith!! :p

I am polite to everyone I meet, and have learned to interact on their level for the sake of social ease, but my anti deehead/wanger/skank radar is always up, and the judgement usually gets made within 5 mins...saves a lot of time-wasting as you say.

Still be nice to them; but move on in a timely manner wherever possible.

All judgements are lies we make up about other people.

We believe the lies because we are disconnected from ourselves - otherwise we would just see things as they are without judgement.

This does not mean love everybody (puke) - it means quickly deciding whether something is going to work for you or not and deciding to go with things that do work for you without judging the rest.

I don't find tattoos attractive and I would never have any that does not mean that other people shouldn't it means I won't.

Why on earth did I think you would say this:)

I have been around a while too, my views have changed as I have gotten older.

I think this is in part due to realising it's not an even playing field. I also have a partner who rarely judges, makes me look bad, but am working on this

For me player's wise words sums it up nicely, I think he has also been around for a while too.

    excellent point

Going for what works, without judging the rest.... - brilliant, I think a person who can do this is emotionally at a much higher level. I don't believe many people could this, including myself.

MTR, as women we're trained/raised/conditioned to be nurturing/accepting/nice/good/kind. We're always trying to see the good in people, even when they're shites. We put up with way too much crap. And even when we finally let go, we're still blaming ourselves over what we could have done differently. Men don't have the same self-doubt.

I think investors in general.. there's a lower % of religious people and a lower % of tatts than for the general public.
Or is that just because I am in that demographic?

It's because they are more concerned with getting the ink on paper (now plastic) than ink on their skin. :D

As this topic comes up, I remember my then 8 year old boy said to me "Please don't judge me".

Rings in my head every time.
