I have this bullnose verandah with a 2.3m span. It doesn't have any timber support underneath and the irin is old and become soft with age.

any tips on walking on it?

I thought about maybe using a temporary timber prop underneath. but would take a full day just to set up

Unsupported tin roof will give way without proper support, a ladder underneath may punch through the sheets. A ladder is not adequate.

Why do you want to walk on it?
    1 get life insurance
    2 get income insurance
    3 get tetanus shot
4 do work from harness from main roof or from side edges with ladders/scaffolding or use acroprops as suggested by pink boy

Do you need to walk on it?
Can you hire a little trailer mount cherry picker? (Or similar)

Agree- don't walk on it - if need to get lower than cherry picker allows - trestles to outside with plank across - if need be remove a sheet in the middle so plank can sit on trestle in middle - won't get plank longer than 6m and it would sag even if did.

Its 2mm thick. The curve adds a trivial amount of strength...100kg of human weight will fall the distance to the ground however, as it is not structural or flat. It is a roof not a walkway. No structural integrity

Why walk on it? You wouldnt walk on 2mm thick ice would you?

Only tip for walking on it. DO NOT
