    Blast them initially at a higher temp than on packet and add 25% to the allocated cooking time.

    Just put the oil through a strainer while it's still hot. Good as new.

    Do those airfryer thingos actually work? Does anyone have one of these? How's the taste - am guessing without the oil factor that it would taste really ordinary.

    That works even better if the strainer is completely plastic.

    Ha. I haven't melted a strainer yet. You think I'm eating plastic? I think the strainer part is nylon.
