I would love to find the price for a property which sold in September this year. It says that the price is withhold online everywhere I checked. I called the REA agent and they said that the sale didn't end up going through them but was a private sale so they don't know the price either.
I've checked all the free sites I know of online but can't find anything.
    Any tips?
    Thank you

I can't guarantee anything, but feel free to pm me the address and if I can get it for you, I will.

One can use the tools on realestate.com.au to work it out usually, if the house is listed there. Find the sold records for the suburb you're interested in, sort them by newest first, then pick the price range you expect it to have gone in. Adjust the price range until you see the desired house come up. You can find the exact price rather than the range by manually adjusting the numbers in the URL.

    Hope this helps!

Not sure where you are looking @Muffins but if in Vic - you can also try using the SOI for similar for sale properties in the area. Your property may come up as a comparable property on the SOI.
Otherwise the paid subscriptions ie RP Data etc

    Good luck

There is an app called ‘on the house property values’. This often has price data on withheld sale prices.
