    Hi there
Just wondering how I make a change to one of my posts? Is it possible to edit it? Or if not, can I delete a post?
    Thanks
    K

    hi
whatever suits, if easier, delete the post and just start again, otherwise edit button at bottom of page, I just don't want people to see the address you never know who is reading this stuff and how it may impact

    cheers
    Marisa

Really strange, I don't see the option to "edit" even when I search for it on my browser page. Maybe new members aren't allowed to?

The time is limited, with higher limits for premium and business members.

If you're referring to the south Perth post, your best bet might be to click Report instead and have moderators take out the link if you're concerned.

I think everyone should be able to edit at least for 24 hours. May be have a history like Facebook.

You have 5 minutes to edit after you create the post.

Sounds like there was an 'issue' or serious offender which I'm not aware of. Part-timers never get the whole picture :)

Didn't think of that, maybe a longer edit function for spelling mistakes and posts which are incomprehensible..etc

The longer times were being abused. People would make a post, and then go back to substantially modify, or even rewrite. Especially annoying when people have responded and then the poster changes what was being responded to.

@k_veg, you reported the post you were concerned about and it was changed.

Is it fair to punish everyone because of few abusers?

That applies to many things in life.

If a post needs to be changed, report it for the mods to change.

    Simon has been monitoring.
