How to do your research when choosing a property to redevelop in a few years time?

    Hi all. We intend to buy a livable house on a decent sized block of land, to subdivide and build in a few years' time. Anyone can point me to the right direction so I can do my research to make sure the land is suitable for this purpose, and the price is right?
