    It's 10 years in QLD,Victoria it stays on file not sure on NSW,or other states,just don't apply for a visa for the USA and tell porkies,the word ever means ever,and it will take 20-25 weeks to get a visa waiver,even then they will pull you inside a room even with the visa waiver,and check to see if you have been upfront,if not your on the first plane out of the country,.
