    Hi all.

Sorry for the noob question. I've been looking for dual/triple income properties around SA. Some of them are houses split in half and others are detached units. I went to an inspection today of a place with three leases on the one title. The real estate agent told me that it was legal. I have read under SA law you can't rent out a granny flats to non family members.

How do I go about confirming that if I purchase the property that the leases in place are legitimate/complaint?

    Thanks.
