    Hi,
I'm trying to decide how to invest overseas... I would like to buy an apartment in Mumbai. These guys www.offshoreincorporate.com say I need to set up a company but it can't be that complicated right?

I know a solid accountant in Mumbai who is a tax geek . His name is Ashish and he does not sell property.

If you are interested I will give you his details.

    Here it is!

    Mr. Ashish Bairagra - M. L. Bhuwania & Co.

He is an international tax guy - the stuff about audits does not apply to him.

If you mention my name he will help or point you to somebody who can.

I have done a few technical presentations in Bangkok and Thailand with Ashish. Also seen some of his structuring work and he is a good bloke.

I get nothing from referring him (story of my life). He might say thanks and buy me a beer next time we catch up.

Only having 1 beer seems redundant if you have 2 hands :p

We have a couple of families with overseas business interests or investments.

It is why we joined up with Geneva group - really needed the ability to get a decent operator in another city/country with local knowledge.

I had a client go to grant Thornton because I didn't know anybody in Singapore - did not like that.

You have a drinking problem DT. Two hands, but only one mouth.
