Inspired by the ‘how often do you shower?’ question!

I read an article a few months ago that said most people change their sheets once a month. I was pretty surprised as I thought once a week was more common. However, after chatting to some workmates found that once a week isn’t as common as I thought.

If you use a duvet cover and bottom sheet only, then changing these also counts as changing your sheets.

Normally every week or so. But I'm not going to hang out sheets to dry in the smoke.

Given NORMAL circumstances in Winter, we actually go to bed pretty much "fully clothed" (inc socks at times) so there's actually little body contact with sheets (other than hands?) AND we don't have any pets AND we both shower at night (per other thread)..... my excuse for not washing the sheets too often....

That begs the question "Do you wash the sofa covers if you sleep on it" (or is it still covered with plastic?)

I think the less frequently than once a week answerers don't want to answer.. so results are skewed.

OK, how often are the sheets changed - even if it’s not you doing the changing?

You can just tell real estate agents are closed and stock markets are quiet when the threads are all about showers and sheets.....

What if you don't use sheets and sleep on the mattress? When it turns black?

As for me, weekly and right now I've grabbed the opportunity to wash them as there is a patch of blue sky and the Air Quality Index is below abysmal.
