How much would it cost to build something like this?

I had a look on their website. The level of finish isn't quite as high as the property I linked to but definitely better than Metricon. Also I'm personally not a huge fan of hebel. Looks great when it's new, but after a few years, not so much. Unless u have it cleaned frequently of course.

 

We do this type of development all the time and we are finishing one in Cheltenham right now.
It is fair to describe this finish as high medium type finish as apposed to high end which obviously costs more. The design itself could be better but the photographer has nailed the money shot on the facade and the landscaping highlights the dwelling nicely.
Overall it is a well presented development so we would suggest the cost is $800-$850 (TURN KEY) for a customized DUPLEX design and construct including everything without ant fine print type extra costs.

What about Rawson home?

 

Is it cost of just the build minus all the rest or total project cost?

If taking into account:

• Architect's plan
• Council's approval (and other council costs+ levy)
• minor works
• Demolition of existing (if needed)
• site prep
• construction (including some of the water features as shown + appliances)
• landscaping

This kind of project from start to finish will be around $900k.
But my knowledge is from Sydney, Melb prices may vary.
