WA How much is Perth moving south?

    I think 2017 will be the year to buy. 2018 i think we will finally transition into some positive signs. Just from talking to guys in the mine industry they are being told the years 2018-2021 when it will upturn again and more opportunities will arise.

    Will be interesting im not confident with Perth because we are seen as a mining town where we have so much more to offer. Id probably prefer to live in Perth then Melbourne and i love Melbourne.

    I think the over supply of apartments and a real reduction in price as the supply dominates demand will be at its best in 2017 when most/all are completed and vacant or on on the market.

    Thats what ill be aiming for to boost my yield and income.

    I have written down the total listing numbers on 9 popular middle ring suburbs over the past couple of months. I did assume there would be an increase but this has not happened.

    1 same number. 1 more listings. 7 decreased listings

    Some high profile reports out recently that mining has more to fall seeing bottom in 2-3 years time...not looking good for Perth.
