Someone on the street has organised meeting for neighbours to discuss "proposal to sell to developers".

Has anyone attended such a meeting?

How much are developers paying per sqm in castle hills these days for land close to proposed train station?

    Thanks in advance

$4000 is what is being said around the stations. Reality, who knows.

There was a recent article on Domain.com.au saying that the zoning plans had changed, and lower rise development was only being permitted in most areas. This has reduced land prices.

Depends upon your zoning, the yield, what's in the LEP & DCP

Wow. But it had to happen. Smart owners. This will push up prices in the surrounding areas of Castle Hill and surrounds too since many of those 25 owners will want to stay in the area (this happened with my uncle and aunty with those builds at Rembrandt and Carlingford Rds Carlingford a few years ago). They got a good offer from a developer and took it and moved to another house in the same area (but in todays property market, that offer would be considered way too low!)

But if my aunty and uncle banded together with neighbours I reckon they could have gotten more.

Depends where. The district record at present is for Highs and Castle Hill Rds (Bob McMillan ex of JS McMillan Printing fame) hit a $8,400m2 record late in 2015 for his home (and its adjoining bushland and other land holdings). Its across the road from the NWM Cherrybrook Railway site. Its proposed use is for apartments overlooking the escarpment.
