I always thought that, but it's not what mum says. Perhaps they lie to their volunteers, or she just likes to believe in unicorns.

Nanna is most worthy of a pet, but is least able to care for it to it's death.

This 'word' is becoming common place in internet written language - it's not currently a word. How do you pronounce it? Noon?

What does this mean? What are you getting at with this sentence?

The Nanna is not really the issue; just describing the circumstances how the cat arrived at the shelter. It could have been a family of bogans who just offloaded an animal they couldn't be bothered looking after properly - that'd be unusual (not).

It is meant to be no-one.

It is not pronounced "noon", because it has an "e" on the end of it. I guess it possibly could be pronounced noon though - silent "e" - sorta like phone, bone, prune, dune, crane, pane, lane, wane, sane, mane, vane, meme, theme, scheme, late, grate, mate, rate, plate, date, strike, pike, like, ire, mire, sire, dire, wire, desire.....

It's just a type-o, Ed....forgot the hyphen., and the spellchecker must have been on.... strike. :D

An older person is probably more needy, as far as pets go. Older people are probably more in need of pet companions. But they are unlikely to be able to look after the pet to it's death.

Then that would be no one, not noone.

So how is it pronounced? Perhaps we will have new words that r nt spken but only txtd?

    :D

As far as I can remember, it is pronounced "no one".

But it has/is evolving into "no-one" I suspect.

Careful; I'll get offended and have to put in a report. :p

It was a type-o....didn't I say that? Oh; yes I did.

Can we move on, or are you going to be the spelling and grammar Police for a few more posts?

    LOL! ;)

I think you've missed my humour, Ed.

I've never reported anyone, and not about to.

That was a tongue in cheek line, and a "1000 yard snipe" swipe at all those who do report folks for whatever. :p (there are a few here that do).

All clear at my end. :D

    Did I missed anything ?

I'm never in the clear - but I'm "all clear" - it means no dramas with anyone here (not vice versa of course!)

But; you've missed; Ed B has been ON FIRE!! :D

I'm pretty sure Ed was joking as well and you were each upping the ante to see who broke cover first.

But you needed to clear yourself for putting a price on the mutt - which you've done.

    Ah yes; duelling jokers.

    I wasn't aware I "needed" to do anything. o_O

I've long ago given up on being concerned about what folks on this Planet think of me - other than my wife. :p

Oh, alright - and my kids....:p

And of course; the current furball whom shall be obeyed - only at meal times.

I'm glad this was just a t shirt thread derailed and not an important one like others that have gone pear shaped.

Carry on going in circles :p

And fwiw animals should have a $value set on their head before going to the vet!... I'm joking  good luck with your banter

Eff the dog shirt, I want this:

Yes, that is a real wolf pelt; made from an actual wolf.

Also; yes, I would wear the s__t out of that thing. Who wouldn't want to walk around wearing a taxidermied wolf?

I went to the website of the woman that makes them, but it appears she hasn't made one since 2012. Also; it's nearly impossible to get wolf pelts into Australia, apparently. Which is a huge bummer.

EN710, the taxidermist that made that pelt uses only ethical animals (animals that have died of old age, disease or that are roadkill).

That particular wolf had died of kidney failure.

No hunting or animal farming or anything like that.
