Just wondering how long is needed to book in settlement?

If time was of the essence could 24hours before settlement day happen?

Settlement for the property is of cash paid transaction, no mortgage/ lenders.

You would need to check with your Solicitor, Conveyancer or Settlement Agent.

5min to 24 hours. But you need cheque directions and time to get the cheques drawn

If there are no lenders then it is just the solicitor's clerks meeting somewhere, usually seller's solicitor's office. If manual then (QLD anyway) transfer documents must be signed by seller in front of qualified witness. If you want to adjust for rates and water then 10 days in some council areas.
