House has already been settled last week, mortgage is held with Suncorp bank. It was a divorce settlement and I have an offer on the house already but just wondering how long typically for the title to change into just my name.

Agee with weeks with the banks - at best

If there was no mortgage we can lodge transfer today and get a registration confirmation certificate tomorrow.

When there is mortgage involved then the incoming bank lodges transfers. We regularly have them take months and have to chase the bank to get them to register it so that we can sort out the overdue rates etc.

    Is the
is there a way to fast track this process or is it just sit back and wait? It is time sensitive because if they don't change the title the sale falls through.
