In short, no, I do not foresee any issues. There are still many high yield deals around. I personally do not invest for capital growth.

I dont have a crystal just my opinion for what its worth

I think its time to be cautious in US same as in Oz. Its election year and if Trump does not get elected back into office I fear things may go pear shaped in US.

I have just offloaded 5 properties in US, market is still hot, I am reducing exposure and I want to be cashed up ready to fire In Oz. Just sitting and watching

Thank you both for your replies, much appreciated. I agree Jordan, if I were to enter the US I would be chasing cash flow exclusively.

MTR I also agree - if the Democrats are elected there is no telling what they could do. November will be interesting I guess?

No need to fear, it's already pear shaped.

Hey, thanks for the valuable information @MTR & @Karina

Is it still possible to find good deals for 50K in USA which pay great rental yields?

    Happy new year everyone.

I'd be really keen to hear updates from some of the big players in the US like MTR, Jordan and Karina. What are your thoughts on the current state of play in the US following the election? Are you still investing over there or decreasing your holdings? What are the various markets like at the moment from capital growth and rental yield perspectives?

Seems Property everywhere is going up. Just read Ireland had an average 6% growth for the year and they've been smashed by covid.

Everyone saving by not going out is pushing deposits up.

It seems eerie. It doesn't matter where you put money these days you get a return.

    Happy new year!

I concur, it's business as usual. The US is still my main focus.

Very nice I hear that Georgia is one of the most pro landlord state in the US was that a consideration when allocating your resources there?

I hear that US dollar is also weakening to to AUD something to be said about currency risk :s
