I'm sure you are allowed to sit if you have health issues. It's just that they don't want everybody sitting around socialising.

600 euro fine for going for a walk here, police have issues thousands of them. 10 minute supermarket stroll once every 3 days with my passport and paperwork is the only time outside. It's going to drive a lot of people nuts, me included.

One of the school mums died this week. Our kids have been great mates since daycare at 1 year old. We cant go to mourn her loss and be there for her 10,8 and 4 year olds. And they dont get a proper farewell for their mum. Im so sad for them.

@ART did you get back to Australia? My latest flight is cancelled again. Rang Qantas today and they have no info available on the proposed Wednesday Repat flights despite the gubbmint posting schedules and flight numbers on the embassy web page. :p

Hey! My flight out is next Monday with Qatar. They still seem to be flying consistently and you can use the promocode TRAVELHOME to get a discount, though I notice they have jacked up the prices since I booked mine.

Agree that the messaging/communication with airlines has been shambolic. There's not a lot of info and what is out there is often contradictory. I hope when this is all over there's a bit of soul-searching by governments over how to have better protocols in place for this sort of thing, but I'm not holding my breath.

Hope it all works out for you :)

Well. My hip joints have been aching for around 2 months ... one side worse than the other. Put it down to too much time sitting in they office chair ... but the pain won't go away despite only sitting for a few minutes at a time fort the last four weeks. The pain is to the point where i need a couple of Neurofen to sleep

Not game to go to the doctors and the whole carpark, mask rigmorole

Just watching the Scomo's press conference with Chief Medical officer Brendan Murphy and they are suggested schools will remain open? Yet a 17 year old girl learning to drive with her mother is fined by over zealous Victorian police?

I think most people are trying to do the best they can but the level of inconsistency is breathtaking.

Shouldn't have been issued in the first place, total lack of commonsense. At the same time purchasing plants at Bunnings is okay as are the large farmers markets in Brisbane with hundreds of people attending over the weekend.o_O
