Yes....I was considering a career in comedy....you seem to think it is good idea. Do tell about your Duplex developments.

As for Chinese buyers....they can't get money out....know any good launders?

Beijing shut down chinese exchanges some months ago.

But i think some can still manage to move money out of China to hongkong and then from hongkong to overseas, but that takes a lot more time.

Americans are also starting to clampdown on Bitcoin.

I doubt it will be that useful as a money laundering tool in the future. After all every transaction is recorded in the ledger so technically there is a money trial to follow.

Very much so, also has now come under the scope of Home land security. Btc is living on borrowed time, with block chain itself about to be superceded by Hashgraph.

It looks like Brissie is about to one of its best years in 2018....as Sydney winds down...Brissie is starting to go strength to strength....

This is quite normal as Brisbane follows Sydney...the faster Sydney corrects the more Brisbane will increase. Melbourne will also start slowing...which will also redirect funds into Brissie...

You will also see Adelaide move up...and Perth stabilise.

Went out this morning to have a look with our daughter today ,went through 3 units and one property that will go to auction in a few weeks..All the units- one we were the only ones to turn up,the other 2 maybe 10 people plus
the house on over 900sqm's unsplit with a ucv of over 970k -maybe ten cars outside the house..

2018 No matter what Banks think and all the media doom will not worry inner Brisbane at all the agents said the unit market is still on the downward trend, but with large inner southside 7 klms from the cbd block's that's a whole different market within markets and they are starting to climb into the 10-20k per-month ..imho..

Funny I see a hell of a lot of them at auctions I go to in Brisbane (Indooroopilly , Toowong, Taringa), they must be there for the free coffee ?

I guess historically Brisbane has followed Sydney... but historically finance has been a lot easier for investors than it is now, could change the timeframe till it loosens up IF it loosens up.

The reality is over the last 3 years some suburbs have had phenomenal growth. No boom but if people only try to catch booms then it makes the whole game alot more difficult and tbh I don't think its entirely necessary in order to do well. But of course I wont object to a Brisboom. :D

I actually think that every city in Australia will boom quicker than Brisbane will.
But...there is no city in Australia that will have the growth potential compared to entry price than what Brisbane does. This makes Brisbane exceptional value stock. This is usually true for low base cities transitioning to higher status (as they usually still have low status price tags, which will change as the profile of Brisbane grows.) takes a bit if time, but the patience will pay off very big way.

I think this is a great point and I couldn't agree more. There is so much upside in Brisbane that I think its excellent value for money AND low risk at the same time if you buy right. Its such an easy choice to me.

Ok. Fair question. I will start a new poll asking this. Although I and others have asked this before and no one has said no - I made a mistake.
