    • The post was an academic paper related to the OP's title "How do you get super rich"
    • Acknowledgement would be a good start...

I have no interest in being "rich" just want be comfortable living the simple life but do know a few people who i would count as super rich, ferrari daily drive, super yacht in the greek isles types. They all got there through businesses, riding the mining wave etc

I can guarantee you the 'super rich' wouldn't be caught dead with certain folk here. No way, no how. Insidious poison is always a deadly threat. Engage with it for even a short while and it's game over.

This should have more likes. Whilst no one should use this as an excuse, it's important to be aware of this. I've read other research into this too.

Networking Rolf. Whilst I don't support unfair dealings, having lived in qld for 10 + years I'm becoming aware of the need to have connections to get things done.

Ah yes, bad billionaires. Australia has the dubious title of leading developed markets with the highest percentage of rent seeking billionaires. Ruchir Sharma in The rise and fall of nations devotes a chapter to the concept of good billionaires - bad billionaires. You would like it.

@Rolf can speak for himself, but I think I recall him offering exactly that solution, at least as a start.

So, when is the next millionaire Brisbane meetup?

Online dating. Many sites with single rich people whom want company/relationships.

Treat it like a job and adapt to what the person requires.

@MTR are you suggesting that you can 'sleep' your way to the top? ;) @datto - isn't that a race to the bottom?

The biggest wealth destroying statement a man could ever hear?

    "Honey, I'm pregnant."
