How do I find the exact name of a developer?

    I'm interested in buying an apartment but am a bit concerned especially considering all the issues that have been popping up lately.

    I've read that there is a 6 year warranty for major defects but there's no point if the developer no longer exists. However, every time I try to search a developer in the abr register I would find multiple listings.

    What document would I need from a real estate agent that will give me the exact developer name and abn/acn to ensure the developer hasn't already phoenixed?
