At Cottesloe Beach. I was 19 and had just spontaneously moved to WA from Tassy to escape a relationship that was going nowhere. We went out for a drink, I told him I didn't want a relationship, he said okay, but will you meet my parents?
That was it - we were never apart after that, together 18 yrs now and married for 16.

Yeah. It was a quite romantic night that first time I laid eyes on you, I will never forget it. It was behind the toilet block at the sports field behind @datto 's place in the druitt, and I said "oi want a quickie" and you were "yeah alright" and the rest, as they say, is history.

We met in a strip club when it used to be taboo. She was my favourite so I'd always take her to the VIP room and love blossomed over time whenever I was in town and could visit her. We tell people that we met on a train journey across Eastern Europe because some people still judge.

I've recently started a relationship with someone I met online.

It's still quite new, but I'm keeping him.

Lucky he likes me too, otherwise I have this pit in my garage...

I kidnapped mine ;) I keep her in the cellar. I think that it's called 'Stockholm syndrome'.

I met my wife at my friends place. She was one of his new housemates. I was smoking weed and playing PS3 when she walked out of the shower in just a towel.

Ended up hitting it off at my mates party later that week, then she went to denmark for a month...

Didn't take the fact that she fled the country after meeting me personally... and the first day she was back in Australia I just happened to be at my mates place. I invited her to rock climbing with a mate as well.

Then another day just the two of us went to golf and that night we went to harry potter and the half blood prince at the movies! How could a girl resist that?... answer she couldn't! First kiss that night on top of Mt Cootha!

Been together for... I forget how long. Whatever year that harry potter movie came out at the cinema :D Been married for... forget that too.... :p

I met my wife at a Halloween party and 4 years later I proposed on Halloween night in Bali.
We have created a creepy spooky 16 month old son.
It is our 7 year anniversary next Saturday night....31st October, Halloween night.
    Trick or Treat?

Met her at ballroom dance classes. The ladies outnumber the gents 3 to 1 so it's a great place for guys to meet women. Doesn't hurt if you can put one foot in front of the other as well.

That was 18 years ago, we were married in 2000.

I tell people I met my wife on the first day of uni, I saw her walking towards me, my heart skipped a beat and she took my breath away.

Met at a friends going away party.
She had just moved to town so didn't really know anyone. I turned on my 'charm' and after about 15mins she said "You are so full of ****" upped and left. I was pretty well blind by that stage - does that count @MTR

A few months later and we started dating. I picked up a horrible flu and she kicked me out of her house cos she didn't want to get sick (her story). Told me not to call her till I was healthy. She ended up calling me about a week later for dinner.

That was 2012. We got married this month.
