Just thinking how lucky we have been to enjoy and benefits from SS all those years.

Am now enjoying watching this forum evolve.

How can we support it so it keeps going?? Just thinking out loud, this is now a commercial proposition and it needs to be viable to continue operating, I know not our responsibility.... but....

My thoughts were to perhaps upgrade to Premium membership, its only $99 pa, hardly break the bank. Just saying.

    MTR:)

And it's quite possibly a tax deduction :p

Sim has been able to pull this forum together very quickly after the decision by the Somersofts and it is now his baby financially and it will cost quite a bit to run.

I've done my bit by getting a Business account.

Help support Sim and PropertyChat by upgrading to the Premium/Community Level subscription which is $99/yr or paid monthly

Absolutely, that is on my to do list, that's why I posted, what a hypocrite would I be if I did not join up.

What I want to do is place this at the bottom on my avatar

"hard work never killed anyone, but why take a chance".

Please tell me it wont be difficult to do this???

    Geez, $99 a bargain:)

The business members will have provided a nice initial influx of capital to start.

It'd be worth people getting a community membership if they want to support the site. It's about the same price as a magazine subscription. Much better value, I reckon.

@Sim, maybe in the future you might be able to gain support from a data provider and offer a membership that includes access to a data provider in some form too.

I will certainly look into this. Perhaps post in the suggestions forum so I have a reminder about it?

Sim what about having a donation option or title so people can contribute what they wish/ afford so they feel part of it?

No need to apologise, in this forum it's a 'perk' and only for the paid memberships.
As an added bonus you get other perks and it's a very reasonable price of $99 per year for a premium membership or $990 a year for a business membership. It's also likely tax deductable and supports @Sim's kids being fed.

I think it's a great idea. No more free advertising essentially.

I'd contribute financially if it means that pinkboy becomes a moderator?

I think it will be more of an incentive if I promise to NOT make pinkboy a moderator if you contribute financially :p
