how can i permanently get rid of fig trees that seem to spring back again enormously

they are hard or impossible to get to and the fence will be removed so we can get to them and this time i want to do it in a way that they will never ever ever return

anyone know all the details to make sure how we can kill fig trees that are in a locaton where they are pests so that they will never return . they will be permanently killed and removed.

    thank you.

    As per @Propertunity
Ensure to use each and every time you see greenery poping up;)
As it will eventually use up all its starch reserves and die

Depends where they are. They may be protected. Council arborists may need to approve removal and often will for a invasive fig rather than one that obstructs views or harbours bats BUT may require a specified replacement.

drill a few large holes, chuck in round up or dirty car oil into them, kill anything

Spray the entirety of every leaf and trunk with round up, then drill the trunk in multiple places and inject round up.

Invite a fig lover to have the tree dug out and relocated to their place?
