Always catch a cab to the other end of a non-trafficable lane way if you want to do a runner ;)

@datto could possibly add some more things to look into.

    Any big trees nearby?

    Could be major plumbing issues?

I have owned 2 different ppors's both with lanes on one side. First one no issue for nearly 5 years then a gang of youths that were difficult to move on, second not a problem so far but has a steep incline and really no reason to use.

Summary, personally I would only be concerned if the laneway lead somewhere useful or to a high school.

Thanks SNM. When things were tough I used to live in a laneway.

I got to learn which neighbour had dogs and befriended them with treats.

I was then able to jump all the fences and sleep in garages when it was cold and wet. There's also free freshly washed. clothes on the line. If the back door was open ...free feed. The list is endless.

One time I slept in the back of a car. When I woke I was at some fellas workplace lol.

If buying next to a laneway always keep an eye out for any freeloaders...... an old Druitt tip.
