House & Home House Sitters - Perth

Hi All

Looking for a recommendation, anyone know of any good house sitters in Perth.

I used a house sitter last year, she was perfect, however now living o/seas.

I could go professional house sitter only if I must.

Also, must love and walk dogs.

How long do you need them for MTR?

 

Curious, if house sitters are worth it if you didn't have pets?

 

What would that consist of exactly?
Coming regularly to clean the mail, mow the lawn, keep the house tidy so it looks inhabited? I am not familiar with this.
Wouldn't you be worried they would go through your stuff in your absence?

Any ideas of the cost? That could be something to consider if away for a while.

2 weeks Jan 2016 and if available 6 weeks in June

 

I think so, collect mail etc
But main reason my dogs, I won't place them in kennels

 

most services free
I have used this before, check references, police clearance etc

Some people are professional house sitters, free rent

 

I'd suggest getting someone who is actually working.
If they aren't, they are just bums who don't want to pay the true price of being a bum.
I've also heard that house sitting is popular in the porn industry although that shouldn't be too much of an issue in Australia.

 

Hello!! Well, I have a few weeks available between the local theatre season ending and travel overseas so I figured, house sitting could be an option!!
So, I would like to do a house sit stint in the Blue Mountains (past Western Sydney) sometime between 7th May to 21st May.

If you know anybody looking for a house sitter for any of that period with a house in that area, please let me know.

I am very trustworthy, I’ve been working in IT as an Analyst/programmer for 20 years and have been a member of Somersoft/Propertychat over 10 years and happy to have a win-win outcome!!

• Southern Highlands

• Coastal Northern Queensland (need to know access to airport and pending airfare)
• Coastal Northern NSW (need to know access to airport)
• Darwin region (pending airfare)
• Geelong

Or NZ anywhere (need to know access to airport for Sydney and pending airfare)

A blast from past, I used a friend worked well

I recently travelled and ended up in a airbnb, pet friendly. Good for pets but was not fit for humans.

Moved to Melb, dogs flew over. Jetpets. Highly recommend this company. Dogs over 12 years must have vet clearance

 

How about Gold Coast beginning of November for around 4 weeks?

I have been offered a house sit in the Sunshine Coast hinterland!
Only problem is that it’s from the beginning of May, clashing with my (volunteer) Theatre work as stage manager.
Will see if someone can take over my May theatre shifts!
