That looks great. Are you in Ambarvale, by any chance? House looks the same vintage as ours, and I know Ambarvale was developed around the same time as St Clair. We've got those same windows as well.

Just mixed a few colours until I found the colour I liked. It was based off dulux colour oyster linen. Who comes up with the names of these paints lol. I would hate oyster linen :D although I do love oysters.

We did our PPOR a few years ago. We did the Rockcote scratch finish.

Thanks @Brian84 The costing gives me some idea on how I can value a property that I'm interested in. I saw the old pictures of a red brick house but now it is rendered and looking very nice.

I am doing the work to my house to make it look good for the valuation so I can purchase my first ip. Would it be best to spend a bit more money and paint the roof, change fascia and gutters, paint driveway or should I just get a valuation now so I can purchase sooner.

The changes look great. I'd finish it before getting the val done.

Did you end up doing anything with the entrance tile? I'd consider putting some tile paint over it before valuation

No I haven't done anything with the entrance tiles yet because the renderer just finished today. I'm going to tile over the top of existing tiles with some tiles the same colour as garage door.

Looks Great fellow DIYer, especially squaring up the entry

Whoever installed really wanted a pool hey, squeezed it in, good one for bombies off the roof

I built the roof over the pool for bombs off the roof and also the decking and stack stone wall.

Apparently the previous owners installed the pool to help reduce movement in the house, but that sounds like a load of rubbish to me.

The previous owners had about 600-700mm to sit around the pool or they would have to sit on the grass where I put the deck over.

That blank wall with the door would look good with something like a large mosaique on it

Actually, that would be an awesome spot to put a roll down screen with projector from the deck area, sit in floating bean bags etc or on the deck and watch movies, footy etc

Actually I have a 55" TV that is on the wall on the deck that is on a swivel arm that brings the TV off the wall so we can watch it from the pool.

The wall with the door in it is where the BBQ goes once I put it back.
