It comes from mothers and grandmothers when you are a child. I know it is silly but it is still there like an ear worm. o_O

I have a 4 in Brisbane and it has probs been my worst investment so far. Not a biggie but I never liked that it was number 4. I have an 8 in Sydney which has been the best of the lot. I have no feeling either way towards 13 but I definitely like 8's, 6's and 9's. In that order.

Don't worry @Lizzie, there'll still be the 2 of you in it. ;)

    Just saw this.

It's funny you ask because I actually had two identical properties other than colours next door to each other. 13 & 15. Both were ready for rent at exactly the same time and 13 was tenanted first by three weeks.

    There you go.

I had a 4 and it almost doubled in 3 years, sold to an asian family. It could have gone higher if it was 8 or 18 (18 sold the week before for a higher price and it was a knock down). I have a 13 now it has never been vacant. I actually like 13 so I was happy to buy.

Not superstitious or into mumbo jumbo. Number 13 is just a number. My mum, dad and sister were all born on 13th, Im a bit backwards and born on 31st.
