    Hi all,

I have a highset IP in Logan that is experiencing some movement. Fly screens no longer fit in windows, doors not closing.

It has been built in underneath some time ago (not very well and probably not legally) so there is not easy access to the stumps.
I got an underpinner/structural engineer to have a look at it and he recommended a restumper. The restumper had a look and said I need an underpinner so now I'm a bit at a loss as to where to go next.

Has anyone experienced this with a highset house that's been built underneath? Is the only option to pull down walls to access the stumps?

If anyone has recommendations for a good restumper in Brisbane I would really appreciate it if you could PM me.

Did you receive any quotes for the restumper or underpinning works? Both will be expensive jobs.

I would be interested to see what you were quoted.
I need to re-stump my IP. Need to take half a Viagra every night so you don't roll out of bed it leans that bad.

We've used Budget (not for a while now) and most recently Raise My House. Both recommended.

Sorry I didn't realise I'd received replies. So far still struggling to find someone who is willing to do the job.

Im having similar issue with my house where i have had one of the load bearing brick column has sunk few mm.
I have got quotes from Buildfix and they have recommended to inject Geopoly. I am still shopping... i have been quoted 1700 + GTS from engineers to do a detailed report. Still trying to work out if i should go with Geopoly injection or redoing the column with a much stronger footing!
