    The reduction in the catchment area, beside being due to the massive apartment surge was also to allow the school to chose the type of student they wanted to attend to make sure it was a good balance of Academic, sporting and community minded students.

    Not true.

    These schools and the others adjoining are already well over capacity and with the NSW Liberal Government pushing 1,000 more residents into the area they had no choice but to reduce the catchment areas.

    Nothing to do with selection but rather short sightedness for correct infrastructure planning
