I do not know which year the house was built to declare when buying building insurance. Call to Council but they did not provide it. Check, it is not available. Where else can I find built year?

If I guess the built year and put in the declaration for purchase of building insurance, what is the subsequent if the built year is incorrect. Will insurer reject the claims later?

Any reason council didn't provide that, i went through the same process, since my property was build in 1960s and build a double story extension in 1980 i had no idea about the years, i call the council and they gave all the years of all the building permits,
If you cant find the exact year just call the insurer and ask them, in my case they told me to put the earliest build as the date even though it was fully renovated and build as new later
