    Any recommendations?

Will be moving from NSW to VIC and NRMA don't cover the later :(

One with good service/ cover and reasonable price

Any suggestion for home and content insurance would be great too :)

We use RACV (NRMA equivalent) for car, building and content.

You may be able to save by comparing with other insurance companies- start with, but don't limit yourself, to the comparison sites which advertise extensively (they limit themselves to companies which pay them a kickback). Then go to a review site to compare the service. It can be worth a few hundred dollars.

Consider how much excess you are willing to pay. A higher excess can cut your annual bill if you are willing to do so.

Lotus I was using them for actually.
But cars that are either expensive and/or low use (Sunday only, special cars) are often better with specialist car insurers than generic insurance policies.
If for your Holden, Toyota, BMW daily driver etc it's probably cheaper with your Allianz, racv etc but check some online quotes.

For my personal stuff, I use Progressive. Half the price of any other company I got a quote for. And they haven't tried to add 30% onto the new premium for being a loyal member like NRMA et al seem to.

I was paying $900/car/year with NRMA.
I currently pay $850 for 2 cars per year with Progressive.

A work mate uses them too and has claimed a few times.. he loves them.
