Definitely keep the chocolate out of their reach or they will be very very sick.
Bloody clever little mischievous things dogs will be.

I'm bidding farewell to Sydney this weekend. The heat was timed perfectly. I spent yesterday afternoon/evening with a friend in the Vaucluse beaches watching sunset over the harbour bridge and city skyline from the comfort of the ocean.

    Tough life.

Had refrigeration issues yesterday with temperature skyrocketing. The condenser unit for the coolroom is on the roof of the building. I had to go cool it down. Colorbond roof didn't help. Spent an hour up there. Would have to have been at least 50 degrees.

Well up here in the middle of bum **** its been in the 40s. Followed by an afternoon thunder storm that rolls in at around 5pm most days for a bit of a lightning show and some heavy down pour. Then back to normal.
Outside for 3/4 of the day which is nothing to be desired. Gotta love water!.
All part of the fun :)

We are heading out to a wedding in an hour, outdoor ceremony and open terrace later. It's going to be hot. I hope there is some shade. I'm taking a brolly just in case. Last weekend was mild... wish it was last week.

Can't believe last weekend I was wearing a jumper and it barely made it to mid-teens ... the last two days were scorchers around 40, but fortunately the house is double brick and insulated ... didn't have to resort to the ducted aircon until late afternoon on the second day, to bring the house down to "sleepable" levels ... was even to hot to get in the pool. The fur babies spent the day on the tiles ... WP_20151119_008.jpg

I like how they can always suss out the best place - whether it be by the fireplace, flat out on the tiles, etc

'tis Dulux Ironstone ... the match the fireplace chimney breast ... unlike the moody Petrol Blue feature wall in the bedroom painted on another scorching day a few weeks back :D

That's gorgeous! Our dog won't get in the pool. We're not in Cairns though :)

Thank you :) I have 2 retrievers so according to them it's a crime against all retrievers everywhere if I go for a swim without them!

We had a pond in Melbourne that we soon had to fence off as even in the middle of winter my younger dog would be in it swimming.

Ha, thanks! Not inappropriate at all! I'm feeling all warm and fuzzy now! (or maybe that's the beer ) For the record I am wearing pants!

Heh, cheers :D I bet! My younger dog figured out how to use the outdoor setting to jump the pool fence so we had to put a stop to that ASAP!
