    Hey everyone
Waa wondering if anyone had experiences.

The hot water system is apparently a unusual model and the thermostat position is unusual.

Theyve suggsted to repalce the entire unit since theyve called around and csnt find the thermostat

I thought thermostats were fairly generic and can be easily replaced.

    Does anybody have any advice.
Replacing a unit for the thermostat seems like replacing a car due to a faulty brakes

is it a storage tank that is electric ?

most units use a small metal bracket that mounts on the element area to hold the thermostat, should be able to fit a generic type possibly, they would likely not warranty though if not original and if needing wiring, maybe they do not know how, more money in selling a new one.

if it is not far away, you could buy and supply a used unit.
