Taking the kids to a concert tonight (I'll sit in the carpark) - coming down the Eastern Distributor from the north, what turnoff do I take and how is it labelled?

    Super thanks

    Gay this way?

Only time I've been to the Hordern is the end of a Mardi Gras parade.

When you come throuth the ED past the exit to William St, stay in the left lane and then take the exit to Anzac Parade. This splits into an exit to Bondi and an exit to Kensington, take the right hand exit to emerge onto Anzac Pde which takes you right there.

It is part of Fox Studios / The Entertainment Quarter.

Park in their multi-storey carparpark right next to the SCG.

Really? You're going to sit in the carpark? Why don't you go and see a movie or something while the kids are at their concert? There is a big Hoyts complex as part of that whole precinct.

Taking a good book ... but might go for a wander ... and have a nap.

The kids (13 & 14) have to find me afterwards, so I really want to just park somewhere they can return to the car/me when the concert is finished ... rather than me trying to find them amongst 5,000 other screaming teenage girls.

Thanks for the parking tip ... although ... wanting easiest options for a compete Sydney-phobic rather than cheapest. I'd even pay someone $500 to drive the kids down if I thought I could get away with it

It's a big carpark and there is a lot of stuff happening there at night - bars, restaurants and the tent for Circque du Soleil is about 300 metres from the Hordern (and the circus will be on that night). You're going to have to meet them at the Hordern exit or they'll get lost.

Yep - the kids loved it! Took an hour to get out of the carpark and home at 2pm

Yes, getting out of that carpark is a killer. I went to the circus last week and got a parking spot right across the road from the Hordern. It was uncanny. I though I might as well have a look and as I got there someone was just pulling out of a spot. It could be the best parking spot I have chanced on ever. I would have taken it even if I was just driving past and not intending to stop. I reckon I could have sold that parking spot for $100 if I had some paper and a marker to make a sign.
