Home security cameras?

    Looking at getting a Swann 4 camera kit for a mate's place. Are these ok?

    Anyone got any experience with this stuff?

    I use a couple of Hikvision dome cameras mounted under the eaves of my house. They're Power over Ethernet (POE) which means no sparky required to install power points near the cameras.

    The cameras feed footage back to my PC which is always on and acts as an NVR.

    Biggest headache for me is night vision. I've just purchased a IR illuminator to help the poor night vision footage quality. Will see how it goes.
