    Airbnb Perhaps?

    500K means 500 week = 9 years

Holidays houses is pain in the ass most of the case, IMHO

I go to to Nelson bay quite regularly and always takes me 3 hours with breaks. I suppose if you do a midnight run, put the pedal to the metal and take no breaks you could do it 2 hours.

    Otherwise try Gorokan.

Have they looked at Brooklyn? still have spare change for a jetski or speedboat to hit the beaches around there https://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-nsw-brooklyn-128139242

I have a place for sale at Caves Beach at the moment (listed on the forum here), 5min walk to beach, great local cafes and resort, overall great location but no water views (could hear the waves crashing though the other week with the big swells :)

+1 for Norah Head. Sleepy enough, pretty enough. Everything you need is there.

I'd also vote for Long Jetty - far enough away from The Entrance but great access to beach and lakeside.

Top end of the budget but has a pool, north facing, not a cent to spend.

Davistown - a bit tired but If you're on the coast you want coast.

I've never understood people saying they live on the coast when they still have to get in their car and drive to the beach!:confused::confused:
