im trying to work at what what point it its worth holding my old PPOR and renting it out vs selling it. id prefer to sell but i dont see it getting what im looking for in this market. selling it would release the extra funds and deposit. i would have to pay agent selling fees any other costs i dont know about?
Work out all the costs associated with selling. Then work out all the savings of interest on your new PPOR and see how they compare. Then factor in lost capital growth and costs of a replacement property.
